Vector — The Job Search OS

For career coaches

Know who needs you today.

You already know how to coach. What you don’t have is sight of ten searches at once — who has gone quiet, who is off their plan, and whether last week’s advice was ever acted on. Vector gives you the record instead of the retelling.

Already on Huntr? Bring a client’s search over in minutes.

The coach overview: assigned clients, who needs attention, overdue actions and who is off plan, then eight weeks of activity for every client, with the one going quiet flagged.

Who needs you today, ranked.

Risk signals, overdue actions and eight weeks of activity across your caseload — the clients most likely to need you at the top, and anyone going quiet flagged while there is still time to act.

A coach's week

Seven things you do, without chasing anyone for a status.

All of it is in the product today.

Open the one that matters

Your caseload, ranked by who needs you

Readiness, active pursuits, overdue actions and risk signals for every client you're assigned — ordered by who is most likely to need you today, not alphabetically.

What to notice

Stalled searches, clients off their plan and ones who haven't signed in surface on their own. You find out in week two, not week five.

Coach the record, not the retelling

Everything that produced the result

Their pursuits, contacts, dossiers, applications and interviews — what actually happened, with dates. Including who they know and what has gone out on their behalf.

What to notice

You stop spending the first fifteen minutes of a call reconstructing the fortnight.

Say it once, in the right place

Feedback that lands on their plan

Draft privately, edit, then submit. Submitted feedback becomes visible to the client and feeds their Action Plan, so your advice sits in the same list as everything else they owe.

What to notice

Drafts stay yours until you send them. Nothing you are still thinking about is visible to anyone.

Ask, with a date on it

Assign work the OS chases for you

Ask a client for something by a day. It appears on their Action Plan named as yours — “Marcus asked you to rewrite your summary” — and they are reminded when it comes due.

What to notice

You can see what you asked for and whether it was done, without asking again.

Open a door for them

Draft an Open Door for a client

Name the company your client wants a way into, and draft the note to their network. It waits on their Open Doors for them to read, change and send.

What to notice

It goes from their own LinkedIn or email, when they press Send. You can redraft it until they start on it; you can never send it.

Your read, kept private

Notes only you can see

A private note on a client is visible to you and nobody else — not the client, not another coach, not the firm.

What to notice

It is enforced by the API, not hidden by the page you happen to be on.

When it needs more than you

Raise it to the firm

Flag a client for firm attention with a type and a reason. The firm operator acknowledges it and resolves it, and you can see where it got to.

What to notice

An escalation with a record, instead of a message in a channel.

The client is still the one making the calls.

You can see everything that produced a result, and advise on all of it. What you cannot do is act as them — no application is submitted, no message is sent, and no role is pursued or passed on except by the client. That boundary is what makes a client willing to let you see this much.

  • Private notes are yours alone — the API enforces it
  • Drafts stay invisible until you submit them
  • You see the clients you're assigned, and no others
  • Nothing you do changes their record behind their back

See it work

Watch a coach’s morning: who needs you first, then the work, in about 20 seconds.

Your caseload ranked, one client’s workspace, a task with a date, a session logged and a résumé reviewed, on the real product with demo data. Watch, or take over and click around; nothing you do leaves this page.

Coach Network

Get clients from Vector.

Vector doesn’t coach people itself. When someone on Vector wants a human coach, they find one in the Coach Network — and ask to be introduced.

Stop coaching from memory.
